Dean Welch - Sales / Office ManagerI have twelve years' experience in estate agency, having started my career in 2003 working for a large corporate company. I quickly progressed from a trainee sales negotiator to branch manager of one of their most successful regional offices. I have an extensive knowledge of the different areas of Bristol through working as an estate agent. I started at Holbrook Moran five years ago, and love the challenge of selling a wide variety of property from all eras. I absolutely love valuing people's homes, and there is no greater feeling than selling a house, even after twelve years!
In my spare time, I enjoy long walks with my dog, Oscar, and the occasional pint (or two) in front of the football.
Leigh Messenger - Senior Sales NegotiatorI started my career in Estate Agency with Holbrook Moran in 2012 and I have since progressed to Senior Sales Negotiator. My job involves everything from conducting viewings and market appraisals to liaising with solicitors and seeing the transaction through to completion as quickly and efficiently as possible. I am passionate about what I do and I love the fast paced and demanding nature of the role. The great thing about my job is that every day is entirely different and I get to meet some fantastic people along the way. The best bits? Negotiating the sale and handing over the keys to the new home owner and seeing their faces light up with excitement!
Prior to a career in Estate Agency, I was awarded a degree in Broadcast Journalism in 2010 and I have experience in retail management. I dedicate a lot of my spare time to fund-raising and organising charity events for St Peter's hospice. Other hobbies include crafts and eating chocolate. A lot of it.
Kim Cross - Sales NegotiatorI started working for Holbrook Moran Estate Agents just over a year ago as a sales negotiator.
As a negotiator, my role involves liaising with buyers, sellers, solicitors and mortgage advisors, so good verbal communication and telephone skills are essential. I have always worked in a customer service environment, gaining most of my skills and experience through working for the Royal Bank of Scotland for over seven years as a legal advisor. After being on maternity leave in 2012, I decided I wanted to work in estate agency. I have always been passionate about the property market - having moved house four times within five years (my poor husband!) I feel have a good understanding of what people want when they are buying and selling property. I love helping buyers find their dream home and I try to help them as much as possible until they pick up their keys.
I have a three year old daughter, and I have another baby on the way, so most of my spare time is taken up with being a Mum!
Mandy Teakle - Lettings ManagerI have over fifteen years of experience in lettings and have worked with Holbrook Moran since we originally opened in 2001. As the lettings manager combined with years of working in the BS5 area, I have built up long-standing relationships with both my tenants and landlords. I enjoy the challenge of overseeing the smooth running of a busy lettings department.
In my spare time, I enjoy walking my two dogs, listening to music and adding to my ever-expanding collection of boots!
Michelle Davidson - Senior Lettings NegotiatorI am originally from a financial and insurance background. I started my career in an estate agency eleven years ago as a negotiator for a leading corporate agent in West Yorkshire. I then moved to Spain to further my experience in the property sector in the sun! I returned to Bristol in 2008, and I've been with Holbrook Moran ever since. I enjoy the variety of my role within the lettings department as no two days are the same.
When I'm not nosing around people's houses I enjoy keeping fit and spending time with friends and family.
